Desola Awofeso

Tell us about your past work experience: Before joining Sendero, I worked as a Project Management Consultant for BP tasked with implementing process and technology solutions for their Materials Management & Warehousing Logistics group. Prior to that I worked as a consultant for PwC and have held various supply chain roles in the oil & gas industry. One of my favorite project engagements involved working with a chemical company to transform the governance and processes for their procurement function.

How did you first hear about Sendero? I was referred to Sendero by Joe Pruitt! I’ve known Joe for several years and connected with him to pick his brain about consulting opportunities within his network. It wasn’t very long before Joe began telling me about life at Sendero – from there I was hooked!

What is a fun fact or a secret talent that no one knows about you? I am terrified of owls! Something about the expressionless eyes and 360 head rotation… EEK!

Catherine Burke

Tell us about your past work experience: I spent over 7 years at Accenture working in Technology Consulting for large, government clients. I held roles spanning the development lifecycle from requirements and design, to build (my first role out of college was as a programmer), testing, and reporting/analytics. Most recently, I led a software development team using Agile methodology.

What are you most looking forward to in this next year? Not traveling! After a few years on the road or remote, I’m excited to be more involved in the community and have Dallas-based colleagues and clients.

What is a fun fact or a secret talent that no one knows about you? I was on a Jump Rope Team as a kid (3rd-5th grade) and performed during halftime at a Mavericks game!
