DALLAS, TX – Sendero, a management consulting firm with expertise delivering strategic planning, technology enablement, and organizational effectiveness solutions, is pleased to announce the promotion of Donna Gerdes to Director of Human Resources.
Donna joined Sendero in early 2014, most recently serving as Sendero’s Senior Manager of Human Resources. Her career includes over 20 years of experience in regulatory compliance, performance management administration, and salary benchmarking and administration.
“Donna is a committed, calm, and supportive HR leader who strives for professional excellence and keeps employee wellbeing at the forefront of everything she does,” said Ruth Farrar, COO. “Her direction and vision for the Human Resources department has been vital to our firm’s continued growth and expansion over the past several years.”
During her time at Sendero, Donna has led the transition to in-sourcing Human Resources, worked to build our Human Resources function, and elevated Sendero’s Human Resources in multiple, diverse ways that support Sendero’s employees. She also continues to play a key role providing support and guidance for Sendero’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) efforts.
Donna has earned and maintains both SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications and is a long-time member of the DallasHR community. Outside of work, Donna enjoys golf, home projects, reading, time with family, and dining with friends. She has a Bachelor of Arts from University of Northern Iowa.
