A strong focus on community service and engagement have long been cornerstones of Sendero’s culture. And while fundraisers, service days, and group competitions have served as our traditional philanthropic routes, we are always looking for new ways to enable our employees to be better stewards of their communities. So we turned to what we know best – consulting.
In 2017, Sendero began asking employees to solicit organizations that may be in need of consulting services, but without the resources to make those projects a reality. Sendero identified a list of organizations and created consulting teams for each to tackle their immediate or long term business needs. We call these projects “Community Rocks”.
Since then, 10 Community Rocks have been launched, each varying in scope and service offerings including efforts surrounding technology strategy, brand awareness, revenue growth strategy, HR policies and procedures, IT assessments, financial transformation, and more.
